Sydney court dismisses defamation case against film star Rebel Wilson
A defamation case against Australian film star Rebel Wilson was dismissed by a Sydney court on Wednesday.
Wilson -- star of Hollywood hits including "Bridesmaids" and "Pitch Perfect" -- had been accused of defamation by actress Charlotte MacInnes.
The claims centre around Instagram posts and comments by Wilson suggesting MacInnes changed an account of having been victim of sexual harassment in order to advance her career.
The federal court case focused on an incident where MacInnes and a female producer had shared a bath in an apartment after swimming at Bondi Beach, during filming of Wilson's debut "The Deb".
Justice Elizabeth Raper on Wednesday dismissed the case and ordered MacInnes to pay costs.
